GRANTS COMMITTE MEETING
With the exception of November when the committe does not meet, the grants committee's regular meetings are on the third Thursday of the month at noon at the Escondido Chamber or COmmerce, 720 N. Broadway, Escondido.
ESCONDIDO CHARITABLE FOUNDATION BOARD MEETING
With the exception of November when they meet, on the third Thursday, the Escondido Foundation Board meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month - January, March, May, July and September.

ESCONDIDO CHARITABLE FOUNDATION LAUNCHED A LEGACY
In 2007, the members of the Escondido Charitable Foundation launched a legacy by creating the Escondido Charitable Foundation and its current membership structure. Through this membership, half of every contribution goes into immediate grant making and half goes into an endowment that will support Escondido causes forever.

ESCONDIDO CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GRANT AWARDS
Community members, grant recipients, friends and members of the Escondido Charitable Foundation gathered at OrfiliaWinery & Vineyards to celebrate $90,000 in grant awards available exclusively to Escondido nonprofits and causes. The event highlighted the non profit grantees and the work they do in the community. In their first year of grant making, the Escondido Charitable Foundation presented grantees their grant award in the areas of youth education or youth services. These final four grantees, selected by the members of the Escondido Charitable Foundation, were chosen from 37 applicants. The non profits were:
- The Laptop Lab Homework Centers at The Escondido Library $25,000.
- The Cobblestone Village After School and Beyond Program $25,00.
- The Orange Place Learning Communities After School Homework Club $20,000
- Promoting Positive Change, Mentoring through Athletics at Hidden Valley Middle School $20,000.

ESCONDIDO CHARITABLE FOUNDATION LAUNCH
ommunity leaders from across the spectrum of local business, philanthropy and public service gathered at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce on January 25, 2007, to celebrate the success of their efforts in creating the Escondido Community Foundation.
“This really represents the launch of a legacy for Escondido, something generations of residents will take pride in,” states Jack Raymond, Founding Chair of the Escondido Community Foundation Board.
