Grant Guidelines

In the current cycle, the Escondido Charitable Foundation will only accept proposals that address the top issues associated with Healthy Lifestyle Choices: these include programs and activities that focus on creating and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and address many diseases and health issues.

The goal of the 2008-09 grant cycle is to encourage

Healthy Lifestyle Choices that will help Escondido become one of "America's Healthiest Cities."

 

The deadline for grant applications HAS PASSED.

Grants will be announced at the Grant Celebration in October 2008.


Grant Making

The Escondido Charitable Foundation has completed its first grant making. Each year the chosen grants focus are change, and in the first cycle, The Escondido Charitable Foundation accepted proposals in the fields of youth education and/or youth services.

The proposal were for projects with youth ages 0-18 years and/or in grades K through 12. Special consideration was given to projects that addressed: science, technology, literacy, mentoring, leadership and recreation.

Grants were announced at the Grant Celebration on November 29,2007.

Lab Homework Centers The Laptop Lab Homework Centers at the Escondido Library $25,000.
